Arcast Ind 1000AM Air Induction Melting Furnace

Ideal for less reactive alloys

The Arcast Air Induction Melter offers the ability to melt, cast and rapidly solidify metal alloys of nominal 1000 gram mass, using an induction ceramic or graphite crucible.

It offers the ability to melt and alloy metals at up to 1700C. The furnace is enclosed in an open-to-air copper and stainless housing. Inert gas purging can be used to reduce oxidation of the melt.

The intended use for the Induction Melter is to allow metallurgists and technicians to alloy nonreactive metals and cast them with the lowest running and capital costs, while maintaining a high engineering standard.
